Campus is very beautifull very big campus it's in mountain so view is attractive
Faculty is very supportive they help me in each phase of every sem
I am enjoying my collage life hostel are well maintained here

Dislikes

Less accessible internet connection we find difficulty while studying
Mess food is very bad sometimes we are not able to eat mess food and timings are very strict
Very less accessible area for transportation we have to spend alot to react the city

Course Curriculum Overview

Collage carriculam is according to aict sallabus is up to date they are teaching us emerging technologies like ai ml and many more as well and they are also providing hand on live classes . Exam are very though to pass here as our board is hptu so it's under government so it's very though.

Hi everyone my name is Chinmay thakur currently I am percusing btech cse from green hills collage where I paid 40000 at the time of admission and 10 thousand for security deposite which is refundable at the end and I pay 27000 for hostel fee

Campus Life

There are alot is fest in this collage like youth fest and many more and also this collage colab with other collages for the fests and many time they organise the combined activities this collage give alot of opportunities for suports and many more

Admission

I have applied to many collages before like ICFAI chitkara but they have high fee structure this collage is best if you want affordable studies .In this collage there is no selection process you can take direct admission.You just need to meet the eligibility

Faculty

Facility is very supportive students and faculties relation are very good they support the student each phase of there life and there development .Semester exams are divided into three phases first term second term and the final examination

Night Life

In this collage there is very nice gym where I go on daily bases and cefetarea is not that good library is also quite nice where I spend maximum of my collage time hostel is also very nice timeing here are very strict but it's little bit messy

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Are you looking for Affordable and Peaceful place for your Technical study
