Remarks

Every college has its negative and positive aspect. But our college gives you many opportunist and have many competitions to explore your region of interest. so its a good college beside many flaws in studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its average. 2 internal and one semester exam. Also we have 2 surprise tests and one quiz test. We also have lab test and viva so on. There are 2 Internals each 15 marks and one semester of 100 marks.

Placement Experience

NO. we dont have internship. Placement and job opportunist are good. Most my friends got selected in various jobs. Good company are coming to our college like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and many startup companies.

College Events

We have so many events. We have dance, singing , acting and many more. We have our on Tech Fest where different games and talents are show cased of individual students. Different acts including quiz and computer games also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. It takes fee's almost for every small thing from student. we have online site for students. Each student have unique id. They add money there whenever they want. And it should be cleared all before every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I applied for loan. I didnt get scholarship. College takes 4 lakhs of fees from each students every year 1 lakhs so I took loan which directly gets into the college bank account. Its very lenghty process.

Campus Life

We have various Labs and sports activites throught out the semester. We have labs for different subjects we took upon the semester. And we also have viva. Every year the college conducts Annual sports day.

Alumni/Alumna

THe seniors are quite rude at first during opening of college but they started helping after some time during exams. They provide notes and questions. we dont have ragging so its good. ANd most become friendly.

Faculty

Its average. Some teachers are extremely good some are are not. Some don't teach and come to class regularly. But some teachers explain very nicely and give good examples. Most of them are student friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
