Great college if your scores aren't that good

Positive: infrastructure is great. Campus is big and lot of shops are here it feels like it's a township of students. Events are great here. There's no tension about attendance although it shouldn't be less than 40% which is better as SPPU demands 75%. Negatives: The location is somewhat far from main Pune. If you want to explore Pune, it's hard and the location on the campus is on a hill, from one side it a hell of a slope and from other side the roads aren't good.

This college comes into SPPU i.e. Savitribai Phule Pune University. SPPU is very reputed and known University. The course curriculum is overall good somewhat old but it's the structure is good and it seems easy.

Placements are good. A lot of companies come and give internships/placements. Highest package tier offered by company ranges from 8 Lakhs to 12 Lakhs p.a. The mass recruiter gives around 3-5 Lakhs p.a.

The biggest event in our clg is Sinhgad Karandak. It's biggest college event in Pune. In Karandak 2016, the Chainsmokers came for the DJ night. In 2017, W&W came for DJ night. The students here got free passes and even free VIP tickets if they are in organising team. In 2019, Kapil Dev came to our campus. There are other events too like Sinhgad Carnival. We have celebrities coming to our campus all year.

The fee structure is feasible when compared to other private colleges. The fees for students belonging to general category is around 1 lakh RS per year. We also have tuition fee waiver system, in which you can get a scholarship and your fees for one year would be around 20,000 to 30,000 RS per year.

I don't know if college provide any of these services. I am OBC category student, so I get scholarship from government. Others students from SC, ST, and EBC also get scholarship. The students in management quota however don't get scholarship.

Yes, they are good at our clg. We have a numerous clubs both technical and non-technical in which students can take part. We also have an International students sports club. We go to various competitions at national and sometimes international level too.

I lived in hostel 2 years, the room are good you get attached toilet and bathroom in your room. In one room there can be 3 to 4 persons. There's also hot water facility 24×7. There's WiFi facility but it sucks. There's no intime for boys but for girls the intime is 9p.m. The mess here are all Jain mess i.e. you won't get any non-vegetarian food here and the mess food doesn't taste good.

The alumni and seniors are very helpful. The alumni are helpful in bringing companies for placements or for training us in different fields. The seniors are helpful. Our clg is one of the rare clg where ragging doesn't happen and everyone lives in a good sociable environment.

Faculty is good. Recently a strike happened in our clg due to which some faculty had to leave clg. And now we have new teachers, some are good, some are not that much experienced but they are very helpful and the system how our clg works is great.
