Course Curriculum Overview

The way the curriculum is designed, it will prepare a student from head to toe with all the interpersonal skills and grooming to the industry standard level 4. The exams were frequent, but that would help us in sharpening our studies for future.

Placement Experience

Fees and Financial Aid
1. The fees per semester was 55000, which makes the yearly fees around 1.15 lakhs 2. Amongst the semester fees of 55000, 25000 was tuition fees, 5000 was library fees, development fees of 3000. The caution fees was 20000 and admission fees was 40000 3. Batchmates fees were same as mine unless they were from reserved categories where they would get almost 25% off on course fees. 4. Sarvodaya scholarship, swami vivekananada scholarship and many more are available for students.
Campus Life
1. Abhigraha, etc are the names of annual fest which takes place around April every year. Over the year, numerous expo is held by the different streams 2. There are a wide range of books, starring from old to the latest edition, all available in the library the biggest room in the college 3. Smartclass, projector screen and proper audio setup is done for seamless and non interrupted study 4. Swimming, gym, football, cricket pitch, basketball court, volleyball court every kind of sport activity is present
Admission
I applied to Dream Institute of Technology, but the infrastructure and faculty also environment of The Neotia University is unmatched I did not receive any rejection, it's more about the behaviour of the staff, faculty and also the environment which plays a huge role in shaping a person or a student. Admission has to be started with introduction and explanation about the course a student is interested about, then he has to give a preliminary exam after verification of which he is provided admission. Eligibility is 70% and above for admission in B.Tech or science courses.
Faculty
1. Faculty to student ratio was close to 5:1 making the faculties extremely accessible and never facing any problems with study whatsoever 2. Best faculty was Supriyo Chatterjee Sir with his amazing knowledge, experience and the cult following he has in thw world of Optometry, I consider myself very lucky to be trained from that humble fellow. 3. Exams were 3 term exams and 1 semester exam; the question paper used to be tricky but nothing a person with knowledge cannot solve
Night Life
1. The gym hold all modern equipments, college houses 3 cafeterias with huge sitting porch for people to relax; all closes around 8:30 p.m. 2. Campus timing was 7am to 8pm ; class timing 10am to 5pm 3. Fromt of the library, there are huge fields to sit relax and enjoy the beautiful view
