Likes
- Cells and Communities - There are various distinct societies including Crunk - Dancing Society, Nivesh - Finance and Investment Society, Enactus and many more. All societies are very active and productive.
- Faculty - Teaching and Non teaching staff all are very cooperative and helpful.
- Conferences and Workshops - Many interactive session are conducted in the college premiere.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - It has a small campus with no playground.
- Funds - It gets very difficult for the societies to approve fund for college fests.
- Field visit - There should be more field visits.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is little outdated according to me at the time of my admission but now because of the new education policy, it gets updated. The subjects are increased now, internal and other practical examinatons structure has also updated. Every year, exams are conducted twice a year. The course curriculum should be related to the practical real life world problems and it should be related to case studies which will help in the real world corporate. Field visits should be there.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees kept increasing every year at my time of college. The year-wise fees I paid was around 20000. Different courses have different fee structure. The examination fess is charged per semester which was around 800. It keeps on changing. Lab fees, tuition fees is already inclded in the per semester fees. Practical exam fees gets charged at time of filling of examination form. Scholarship and other financial aid facility is also available for some selected students. Every University of Delhi college has its own process of scholarship, for which it is important to connect with the admin office of the college.
Campus Life
You can surely get a good in the college. I was a part of many socieities like - finance and investment cell, enactus, commerce and many more. I have made quit good friends through these societies. The fest and concert season is a whole different vibe in delhi university. Organizing fests, competitions is quite stressful but very happening for all the members of the society. There is a decent library in our college. Overall experinece is quite good.
Admission
The admission process was completely merit based. But now it is through the CUET exam. The cutoffs were quite high that time. Overall admission experinece is quite stressful for me. I have also applied to other private universities. I have also cleared their examinations but eventually I have taken admission in delhi university.
Faculty
The faculty and student relationship is quite good in our college. All teachers are very helpful and supportive. Every course has different course structure. In my course, 4 exams are conducted per semester, you need to choose your elective subject as per your preference. The college's principal, Mr. Vipin Agarwal is also very supportive.
Night Life
My college has not any hostel, students live in PGs or flats mostly but there is a very happening night life as there are many places to hangout in that area. Gym facility is not there in the college but canteen is there in which food is quite average.
