Remarks

Living here is a bit hectic because the college is located far away from city location. It is situated in hilly region. But the college is fine. The academics is great here. But the college lacks at placements and extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum has been revised. I like the new system, you need to study the subjects related to your branch. The exam structure is two sessional exams with one month gap then finally a Semester exam. The practical exams are held separately for internal and external assesments.

Placement Experience

2

I think this is the area where our college lags behind. There aren't much companies that visit here for placement.infact only one company visits here. There is currently no internship that college provides.

College Events

2

Various events like Musical events that include local and bringing other artists , engineering day celebrations, Foundation day celebrations etc .plus training programmes and workshops are also held. Training programmes and workshops are really helpful.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a bit expensive. It is about 50000? per semester. I think based on the college location, infrastructure and the area from which most of the students come from fee about 30-35k is alright.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can get a national scholarship of about 30000 a year, when verified by the college. The college itself doesn't provide any scholarship or loans of its own.Loans can be granted by the bank when you get approval from the college.

Campus Life

3.5

College features the best in class labs, like the computer labs, electrical, civil and electronics engineering labs. civil engineering labs have state of the art equipments making the college the only one in the state having those machines.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels infrastructure is nice.Rooms are good sized ,well ventilated. There is no congestion in hostels . The only thing concerning about hostels is the mess food. Rest services like WiFi,indoor games, prayer rooms are great.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful, they are nice in ways they communicate. They are ready to help in project work and are really good in teaching. The students reside in hostels with them and can easily get helped by them at any time.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty consists of highly qualified and expert teachers. The college recently got teachers from TEQUIP and they are expert in their fields. They are helpful and compared to teachers in other engineering colleges I feel like they are really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
