Course Curriculum Overview
This college comes under Savitri bai Phule University. So the course is purely decided by the University.I think in all the 4 years of engineering students should be taught more about practical knowledge then book knowledge ..at the end practical knowledge is going to help them succeed. Exam structure for First two years is 50(online mcq examination)+50(End sem Theory examination)=100 For the last two years is 30(Insem theory examination)+70(Endsem Theory examination)=100 Then there are termwork and oral examination based on the subjects .Per semester atmost 3 subjects has oral examination.
Placement Experience
The placements are good but the companies are running late for the selection process.Job opportunity is around 100 for a total of 360 students. Our college itself doesn't provide scholarship,We have to apply for scholarships on our own.
College Events
Events are the only things that kept us going.Starting for Sinhgad Carnival to Sinhgad Karandak lost of events are celebrated in our college.In Sinhgad Karandak there are sections such as Technical, Neon , Nontechnical Karandak Etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty reasonable for a middle class family.Fee is around Rs105000/- per year for Open category and around Rs.56000/- for OBC category.Fee needs to be paid at the starting of the year.
Fees and Financial Aid
For OBC Category scholarship is available of RS.50000/- then our fee becomes Rs56000/- which was Re.106000/- Initially.For Open category students EBC Scholarship is provided for students having family income less than Rs600000/-
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities such as seminars , Workshops are being conducted in our college from time to time.Our college has Cricket , football ,volleyball , basketball , kabaddi team and also students playing basketball and Tennis.
Faculty
The faculty of our college was quite good when we were in 2nd and 3rd year of our engineering ..then the strike started in our college due to non payment of professors salary,Every good teacher started leaving the college.As to today we don't have any good teaching faculty.Infact they don't even know how to take submissions properly
