College Review

College is nice but the fee structure can be reconsidered. Also since we don't have a campus of our own it would be really nice if MHRD take it into regard as soon as possible.

The course curriculum is very decent. Being a first year student, the course helped me develop some good practical knowledge and programming skills gradually. Examinations are conducted on a regular basis. Assignments are also given to enhance the knowledge of the concepts.

The first batch is yet to pass-out so I really don't know how it's going to be. But I am sure it's going to be decent one. Internships are provided both internally as well as notices about external and foreign internships are given.

In the last 8 months their have been 3 cultural as well as technical events. One was from the robotics club which was concerned about all the technical stuff and their working. Tech-games were also there. Other was a skill based event having good programming, web development, gaming event. One was cultural event. We are planning to host another event in the next semester.

Being a government institution the fee structure is quite expensive. It may not be feasible for all the students as each student has a different background. The annual fees is nearly equal to that of a private institution.

National level scholarship programmes are provided on the college. Some state level scholarship programmes are also available. Students who satisfy the conditions of availing the scholarship can apply for it.

Extracurricular activities are good. We have different sports like Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Table-tennis and more. Labs are very good with up-to-date equipments. We also have a Gym in the campus.

Senior students are really supportive. They help the juniors in every possible way they can be it regarding academics or any extracurricular work. They are more of like a friend. Since they have spent more time in the college than us they share their experiences with us.

The faculty here is very nice and supportive. They have very good insights of their subjects and are also good at problem solving. Marks given by them are fair. They promote conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
