Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the exam and course curriculum is fully transparent. the exam is fully transparent, teachers always do their best for the student yes sometime he/she may be rude but otherwise, they are top class, the course curriculum is fully transparent

Placement Experience

Yes, big 4 professional firms, multinational companies visit in college and the selected very few students but it not selected me, of course, I am not a bright student.

College Events

College organized independence day, republic day, army day, Diwali, eid, holi, Christmas college also celebrate world environment day world health day Kargil diwas, etc Shivaji college is celebrating each and every festival every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college was demanding rupees 16700 for the first year it didn't ask me for anything else for me its a very very very reasonable price and of course, u have to purchase book outside the premises which are demanded by the college teachers

No, I didn't avail any scholarship and I had zero knowledge about the scholarship. yes, I am not sure about the scholarship.

Campus Life

There is no religion-based politics taken place inside the premises all are equal here. sports facility it was just fabulous college have their own ground for cricket and basketball court, football ground, etc. college had a luxurious library, this college is always focused on extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are really helpful, senior created so many groups for the healthy environment inside college premises.

Admission

I am directly applying in this college from Delhi DU WEBSITE and then waiting for a month to get being selected for the college but my name does not come then I apply in the merit list and being selected for the college. it is an easy procedure for being selected but u have to register in Delhi DU website.

Faculty

For me paying 16700 rupees and comparing this facility is world-class for me. yes, this college is just 500 meters away from my home but before admission, I had a negative image about the college but after the joining its change my whole mindset towards the college. I love college 3000 times.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

DU intakes admission on the basis of CUET UG exam, and then there's the reservations for all categories, so basically your admission is based on the CUET marks and reservations, and then you get a chance to make a preference list of colleges and courses and then DU allots you a seat based on your preference list and your marks as per category....Read More

Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
