Remarks
The positive things are 1.Awesome campus 2.Lot of resouses for entertainment and studying. 3.Better experienced faculties. 4.Better hostel life and hostel facilities The negatives are 1.The syllabus of studying is tough.Lot of students get failed in core subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good and awesome.Most of the lectures are professors and assistant professor in their corresponding department.The exam schedule is in such a way that every semester consists of 6 exams and 2 lab exams.
Placement Experience
Lot of companies are coming for placement in our college.The core companies coming for placement is less,but general companies with normal packages are coming.Our college does not provide any intership but they are providing fund for those who have completed intership in different companies.
College Events
There are lot of events that are conducted in our college.Every year we conduct technical fest called DHISHNA as well as arts fest called VIPANCHIKA in the engineering department and likewise different fest for different departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Generally the fees for studying engineering in COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is expensive.For me I have to pay 40000 per semester excluding hostel fees and food.For merit seat they have to pay 24000 per semester.For SC/ST/OEC students almost everything is free.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college they offered scholarship for those who completed intership in different companies maximum of 4000 per student.It consists of 200 per day.In my knowledge my college don't offer any other scholarship.Also they offer study of reservation students without any fees.Also provide free laptop fund for SC/ST students.
Campus Life
Lot of extracurricular activities are in the college.Most important among them is the Car making competition like BAGA And SUPRA competition for the SAE members.In this competition the has to make car on their own for the racing competition.All other activities like sports and arts are also awesome
Hostel Facilities
For engineering students they don't get University hostel in the first year. In first year they have to stay at private hostel. In private hostel fees is different at different hostels with minimum of 2000 rupees.University hostel has a fees of 500 maximum with all the facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Of course the alumni network and senior students are really helpful.Whenever a program is going to happen the alumni provide most of the fund and all other help are provided by our seniors.Not only that even after passing the exam and leaving the college the college department will always be in touch with us.
Faculty
The faculties are with minimum of 5 year experience in the teaching field.All of them have great knowledge.The faculties help whenever we seek help irrespective of the time and subject.They are deeply into this field.
