Ya first of all my college is 150 years old which means its not just a college its a legacy also with such low fees and such a good facility and environment to study one could easily differentiate a xavierite from any other college grad
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is excellent it is neither burdensome nor too easy and also it covers all the topics one could expect also we have 3 exams in one semseter ie 2 exams are cia (continuous internal assessment) which are of 20 marks each and an end sem exam 60 mark which makes up to 100 marks per subject per semester and also 100 marks for practicals
Placement Experience
Placements cell is very good and my college does provide internship but since i am a first year student i have no experience of an internship and i have never done one as i am an outstation kid and always go to home for holidays but certainly i am going to work on internships
College Events
Best of all is the college fest malhar. It is such a big fest ,people from all over the world come in but it is managed very nicely by the college students also others fests like Janfest and Lingua and many more are celebrated
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee structure is the most fasible in fact i should say it very cheap as compared to the facilites provided to us Also since fee is so low children from any rich or poor background are treated equally in this college
Fees and Financial Aid
I am aware of a facility for poor background kids who get a very much lowering of fees and also there is a scolarship for kids who score very good marks and also those who cannot pay fees are taken in free of cost which is i guess for christian minority but the latter on i am not so sure of
Campus Life
Labs are very well equipped with all instruments needed also They are way too good then most of other college labs and they charge a very low amount as lab maintenance also about sports all the euipmemts are available including a gymkhana in the college campus
Hostel Facilities
my college does not have a girls hostel but i stay in a nearby hostel for gujarati girls where the fee is 18900/- for six months Which includes food and stay also food is very good at such a low rate in mumbai
Alumni/Alumna
ya seniors are very helpful. They provide us with notes which are very helpful during exams also our seniors are way too witty they do not give us notes prior to ensure we also make our own ones but then out of generousity they give us notes during exam days when they see us worried
Faculty
faculty is outstanding ,always engouraging doubts and explanation is very much understandable also they give attention to each and every child which is very least expected for college professors also they provide notes which are necessary such as they give only important ones which makes us responsible to find for others notes as well
