A Review on ICFAI University

The specific aspectof the the curriculum that influenced my decision to take the course was the faculties of the BBA department. One of the professor named T. Haokip sir was so good at teaching,his skills, his way of teaching, his knowledge, was so outstanding enough that I took Human Resources as a specialisation to learn more from him. The curriculum takes us to industrial visits and made us do some practical works with case studies that prepared us for real world applications. The teacher I mentioned above is no more working in our university so the university needs to improve with good Human Resource professors. The exam timings has been better.

From the 5th to 6th semester (3rd year) students became eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are HDFC and RBI bank, ILS hospital, State Bank of India, Indigo, Bandhan bank, Tata, Pran, Longtrai and many more, 4 to 5 offers were made. After getting the degree, I am planning to go on avoation sector as manager post.

The yearly fees of BBA for the year 2022-2025 batch was INR 1,80,000. But the current yearly fees of the BBA has increased into INR 1,92,000. For the admission, the total fees is INR 60,000. The tution fee include INR 30,000 per semester where we can pay also pay the half amount as INR 15,000 for the people who wish too and the other half after three months. Apart from the tution fees, students are also required to pay one-time payment of INR 30,000, where INR 20,000 was the admission fees and INR 10,000 for the caution fees. For scholarships the OBC people gets IND 34000 and the Sc people gets INR 60000. No scholarship facilities for general caste.

Icaria helds at around January Novatos as a events for freshers held as September. The books are not so well provided. we have digital boards in our classroom An extracurricular activities of sport named as Icthalon is offered every year at campus.

I didn't applied for any other colleges. The ICFAI University was on my only priority list. The admission process of our college can be done done with direct admission with pass in 10+(any discipline) examination with minimum 40% marks or with CUET.

Some faculties are so friendly and approachable, good with teaching, providing us notes and assignments, helps us in completing our tasks and assignments in a well explained manner and tries to maintain a good communication and relationship between us where as some of the faculties doesn't teaches well at all, they just come at the classroom keeps reading out the topic and goes back. Mr. Prasanjit of Faculty of Management and commerce teaches the worst. He doesn't gives us any note just keeeps reading out from a piece of page and the explaination he does was not understandably at all. There are two exams that are held per semester. One is the mid-term examination and the other one is the final examination. The question paper are neither easy nor hard. It is just made the way as a student should score good or average marks depending on the students being studied or not. The students with less than 75% attendance fails to sit on an exam and at a rate of 20% out of 100% students fails to clear the exams. The course curriculum is good enough with no doubt.

Upto 6.00. pm ousiders can be inside the campus. The libraries and public areas are closed at 9. 00 .pm for hostelers The hostel timings are also closed upto 8.00. pm The famous hangout inside the campus is the gallery, parks and the Maggie point and the outside the campus is the Boss varieties shop
