Course Curriculum Overview

I loved coding from the very beginning, and my brother was working for a company as a data analyst and i used to watch him do that , so i liked coding from start which influenced me to take Bachelors of science in data science

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total overall fees including tuition fees, caution fees, admission fees , etc for first year is around 35,000 increasing to around 40,000 in the second year and for the final year its around 56,000

Campus Life

There is only 1 annual fest and techinal festival in our college called the mridang , the college has a good library , the projectors in the classrooms doesn't work properly , and there are no sports and extracurricular activities

Admission

I applied to this college as it required less fees than other colleges , but the college is not that great compared to other colleges , things like projectors and computers in the lab don't work properly sometimes

Faculty

All the college faculty members are good , there is no such thing as a bad faculty member in our college , everyone is good and helpful to us , all the faculty members help us alot , specially the data science head of department

Night Life

There are no hostels , and the area around is not that great , but the college has a great canteen providing various varieties of items in the menu prepared in a hygienic way , also there is no gym available

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Eligibility for every course differs for very obvious reasons but as far as my course is concerned I opted for ba in economics actually I wanted to opt for honors but it wasn't available anyway, the eligibility for ba in economics in that college is you must have passed your 12th with arts or commerce as your background and no minimum percentage required. you can visit the college website and contact them by just searching their name along with the website on Google for eg Reena Mehta College website the application form is available online as well as offline from the premises the fees are around 300 or something and also before directly jumping to that college please do visit the university under which the college operates so that u get a good idea of it.
