Remarks
The buildings and physical view of the college is a bit thumbs down. Its new building are too old and some places are even dirty. needs good maintenance. But yes the new building is quite good. Otherwise okay.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is based on 1+1+1 system. First year they take a Half yearly exam of your subjects and including English Bengali. Everybody have to pass English Bengali as they are compulsory on first year. Once you clear these there is final exam. In 2nd year they take class tests and then final and so on third year.
Placement Experience
As it is not a professional college, there is no such placement & job opportunities. It does not provide internships either. I can only remember that once Tata Consultancy Service came and wanted to take an interview but that was for temporary staffs so no one were too much interested.
College Events
There are freshers welcome, farewell and various kinds of events take place in our college. Seniors organise those in Calcutta University hall.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is not too much high but not too low either. we felt surprised and overwhelmed sometimes when they charged for fees in some services they rarely give us.

Campus Life
Geography labs are the best in our college, it is even popular that few students only opt to take admission here. In our stream, Botany lab is the best. extracurricular activities like Dance, singing in events are there.
Alumni/Alumna
We were not too much connected with senior students or alumni network. So can not tell too much about that.
Faculty
In our department the best faculty is Botany. After that it is Physiology. All Botany professors are too much helpful and caring. the laboratory assistants are good too. Physiology department has a good structure in lab. we had faced few problems with Zoology department because the assistants were not so co-operative. But some professors were really helpful. Otherwise in our college, Geography department owns the best lab.
