Infrastructure and the staffs. They are so friendly

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually i choosed computer science becuase now it is a technology world. So i guess it is good to continue my carrier within this. Final Exams are conducted btween 4months.. And series are done 2month.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have seen soany seniors who got passed out with placed in companies. They start to give the placements practise from 3rd yrear onwards. The prepare the students from 1st yr onwards. Now the seniors are well settled

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 75000? per year. I am a nri student. For management and all they pay for sometbing 50k less.some of them dont pay fees because they have scholarships. Most of the students are merit. And i think they have 30k.

Campus Life

I am enjoying my college life. Even though i have a discomfort at the beginning it changed after it. Because of my friends staffs.. I experinced so many during this period. There is nss iedc to improve the students knowlodge

Admission

I actually took this college because of the fees.. Most of the college have donations with large amount. But this college doesnt need donations. And the infrastructure is good. The environment everything.

Faculty

The relationship between the staffs and students are great. They are so friendly. There are 2 series exm per sem and one final exm per sem. Actually soemtimes it get hard sometimes it may be hard. It depends

Night Life

The cafeteriais great. The area located is little bit inside. Its actually 35acres of place. And for night life the city is 15min from the college. Library is great. It have so many books which is needed for the students.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
