Remarks

In all i like my college even after many flaws . Though i feel sport facilities should be improved, library facilities needs to be re considered.

Entrance Preview

AIPMT - rank 921BHU - rank 72COMEDK- rank 42AFMC- rank 41I did appeared for UPCPMT but did'nt got through..so dont even remember the marks/rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course offered in BMCRI s exceptional. Staff is very nice though some are too lazy to teach.More than studies which i consider average , The clinical experience you gain here during internship is really nice .

Internships Opportunities

Internship is the best or worst period (depends upon how you take it)We used to get so many cases , So yes we used to get tired like hell but nonetheless we learnt from those. Internship is the time when we learnt to live for patients.

Placement Experience

4

Well one thing BMCRI is very famous for the PG candidates our college gives every year. So yes this is good Opportunity for me and for everyone else out there looking to do MBBS.

College Events

3

We have intra college fest celebrated in the mid-year. And then we have the inter college annual fest COBALT SKIES, Which is the most happening fest in karnataka for the medical colleges. Apart from this we have sports meet . We also get opportunity to go outside our college. Many have done really well in this . Sports meet are also there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is pretty nice . 6000 for 6 months. Its quiet reasonable and feasible.Apart from this exam fees , library fees are there but in total i would say its feasible only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they do provide scholarships like (MHRD) and other yearly but the process to clear if is very slow. Account section staff is too lazy to look after all these important features.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is good. But the infrastructure is bad. If you want to enjoy you have to arrange things for yourself. Yes there are opportunities for those who like sport but there is no enough space to practice our sport. If you are good you are good but you can not practice much things here.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facilities are very poor. Facilities are secondary, we dont even Have enough space to accommodate students . Mess is just like the hostel. But i have been adjusted to it by now.

Alumni/Alumna

Well alumni is very good senior students are exceptional.. They are which makes BMC real BMC. They are the pillars on which our college stands . But alas, they did'nt got any help when they were in college. So being good you have to work really hard because college do very lil help in this.

Exam Structure

Exams are not that good. Yearly 3 internal and then final university exams . Thats it. No routine tests whatsoever.

Faculty

2

I would say faculty was good only but for themselves. We did'nt learn from them. Though exceptions are always there and some have really worked hard to make us understand the subject. But these kind of faculty is very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.
