Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's meh ???? just plain not good neither bad just ok The 1st year prepares you for nothing as everyone wants to skip the 1st year , it's like repeated 12 std . Specified subjects to be started from 1st year instead of 2nd year The curriculum and exam timings are very weird like year starts in October and 1st exam is in January the in April the June and finals is in August.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are too costly and false reviews are given to parents, students are over hyped for the admission, I'm pursuing BSC CPT and we didn't even got a classroom, we are kept in an auditorium and we are not able to access the college library, only 1 lecture per day which ends in just 30 mins , even when it's scheduled for 2 hours . College takes donation and then asks for anti donation affidavit to hide the fact that have taken any kind of donation, only teachers pet can survive this college and score high, rest other normal students just come here for attendance, office is very weird where you have to visit only for specific times , And even the staff is very rude to students. I'm here just for fun and degree any person thinking of this college please think of any other colleges.

Campus Life

4

Yes it's very good, classmates are great, roaming in campus is great. College is culturally very active and cheerful. Facilities are given but not too much. Sports and extracurricular activities are very good. Student councils are available to join and do elections for,it's a great way to connect with others.

Admission

I've applied to Pillai ,MGM,Terna college etc Other colleges didn't picked up my call , on other hand dy college picked up phone quickly and thus it was selected. Admission process is simple, if you have money you can get admission in any course available.

Faculty

2

Faculty only exist, interns just come and change slides of ppt and no specific detailed information is given. From my perspective I've never had any good faculty, some teachers and staff i particularly hate is because of they made my easy task more hard , 4 exams per year . Because of the idiot interns the lectures get too much fast and many lessons feel skipped.

Night Life

4

This is a very great topic to say as the area around college is very much great, many hotels and cafeterias are near railway station of Nerul which is roughly 5 mins from college by walking. I do not live in hostel so I have no information about it.campus closes for students and professors at 5 in evening. Locality is safe to roam at night around Nerul station and is very safe for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
