What Students Say

Likes

College campus areas were we can relax and sleep
Canteen area where we can have variety of snacks
Lab periods with many facilities that is much more fun than classes

Dislikes

Some faculties of our department some are good
Not having any proper celebration when i joinied but it changed from this year
So many assignments and works and have to complete note books and their submissions

Course Curriculum Overview

Each of the faculties helps in gaining experience with mock interviews and the methods to study helpful notes. Internships and many other things .exam are conducted and they may or may not be difficult.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My Course is computer science and its fees is 65000 excluding hostel fees,and bus fees . Our casualties help in getting scholarship related problems ie which is better for us...and if you are joining with merit then you fees will be about lower than 65k

Campus Life

As for the experiences it has merits and demrit for the merits its the friends and enjoyments we are having and the internships IV s and all and the trips and group project with stupid friends and for the demrits its the damn exams

Admission

Comparing to other colleges the only demrit i found out is that their isn't any frequent programs thats all. And this college is recommended by my previous sir so that all. The admission process is simple as thier are staffs who will help.

Faculty

Their are about 20 faculties who are kind at the end of semester before that they are some times not as friendly at the end they are friendly... for the exm their are 2 series exm and then a main exam.

Night Life

Favorite hangout spot for me is my friends house near the college and the pool and the snacks shop outside the college campus its a fun spot (not for drinking just having a cup of tea and snacks) it's fun

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?
