Course Curriculum Overview
My course that is engineering physics is very very relevant and student can go in research as well as in tech side. Curriculum includes courses from almost all departments that makes it very very helpful. Professors teaching are leading researchers in their fields.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available from 2nd and 3rd year. Depending on your resume you get Internships. There are a lot of national nad international companies that offer Internships to students and stipend offered is also satisfactory.
Placement Experience
Campus placements in iitb is very satisfactory. There are a lot of national and international companies that come for placement and give very nice packages. Highest packages go upto 4crores but if a student is not serious then iitb doesnt guarantee placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester tution fee is 1 lac Also hostel and mess fees go upto 50000 People from sc st categories are exempted from paying tution fees worth 1lac. There are also scholarship for people having low income
Campus Life
Campus life is very chill but also if you stop focusing on studies it can be tough. People here are allrounders and very welcoming. Clubs are also fun. There are annual cultural fest (mood indigo) and techfest which are one of the best in asia. Libraries are full of different types of books.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are very decent. 2 students stay in one room. Girls hostel are nice but boys hostel is congested, rooms are small and not that nice. Food quality is pretty decent too. You get a variety of food options.
Admission
I choose iitb beacuse it is said to be the best college of india and also its not wrong. My jee adv rank allowed me to take admission here. I didnot get rejected from any college. For taking admission in iitb, student should give jee mains and then jee adv and then according to you rank you will get colleges.
Faculty
There are a lot of outstanding faculties that are always ready to help students. Prof swapnil mahajan taught me ma105 and was very very nice to students, taught very well and also graded very generously. There are many exams in one sem and that depends on the course, difficultly also depends on course but mostly if you study consistently, it will be fine
Night Life
Nightlife is vibrant, as there are no restrictions, students do roam around the campus at night also. Cafeterias like aromas chaayos are open late at night. Gym are open at particular timings. Campus is very safe to go in night.
