Remarks
I'm very disappointed about the semester exams. Because it has about 1000 numbers of annual exam and 360 numbers of class test number. We have to sit for 1360 numbers exam in a gap of 5 months. Also there is a good thing that is it's a very good placement in our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's based on mainly electronics and besides on instrumentation also. We learn different subjects In touch with above mention subjects. And about the exam we have to give 8 semesters in the whole 4 year. In whole semester there are six subjects as well as 2-3 lab works. So there are 12 class tests.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunity is very good in my college. I've seen most of our seniors has got job. And internship is also very helpful. I'm sorry to say but I haven't get any internship till now. But I've seen my seniors to have internships and they get very much good stipend.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in my college. 1. CIIPPUS- it means CONSTITUTION, IT, INSTRUMENTATION, POWER, PRINTING all US together. This is our fresher's event. 2. SRIJAN- Kolkata's best Tech fest ever. 3. Sanskriti- Cultural fest. And there are many more like U-TURN and etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fees structure is very good. At first in admission we pay 710 ruppes and now in each semester we pay for only 64-84 ruppes. But in IT department it is to high it costs 25000 in each year and in each semester it costs 6000 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is many good scholarship and loan facility in our college. I don't opted for any of things but there are many loan facility and scholarship. I've seen my friends to apply for scholarships and our seniors for having loan for higher studies.
Campus Life
There is many thing I mean many things to do in extracurricular activities. There is separate labs in each department. In our department there are 5-8 labs. I don't know each of them. So I guess. We play football cricket, vollyball, basketball, here. As well as carrom, card, table tenis, normal tenis.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors are very help ful here they guide us very much. At first I was very disappointed about their behaviour but later i got know that they are very good. They ask us to do something good in our life. They are very helpful.
Admission
At first I sat for WBJEE then when the result came out. I council for many department and colleges and after that i was selected in Jadavpur University instrumentation and electronic engineering department. Then I took admission.
Faculty
It's a good faculty. We follow student union generally. There is a very bad thing in my mind that is about the exam we have to give 8 semesters in the whole 4 year.
