Course Curriculum Overview
I think the entire curriculum is quite comprehensive and easy. You can really score well even if you study well before 3-4 days od your exams. The curriculum perhaps lacks latest concepts which needs to be inculcated
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees:- 1.3 lakhs for general category If income below 8lakhs then 50% is paid by government via scholarship So actual fees are 70-80k per year. If you're from reservation category then fees are quite less. Hostel cost is about 60k per year. (Mess included)
Campus Life
You will definitely enjoy the ambience here. Obviously the location is lonavala afterall!. Entire campus is graceful in its own way. Yes people come here from diffrent regions and backgrounds so sometimes its difficult to adjust but people do adapt. Talking about clubs, Yes there are few major clubs who manage almost all the crucial events. if you are someone who wants to be in extracurricular or improve some soft skills. This is a right place for you. Infrastruture of college is good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good. Even more than you expect. They do provide 24 hrs water service. And one more good thing, The hostel never runs out of electricity. Mess food quality is averege as it depends on which mess you choose. Not to worry about it as mess change process is held every 1 month.
Admission
The first reason is my CET /JEE marks. I got this college on the basis of my JEE perentile. If you are really someone who is really interested to pursue CS/IT and intrested to give absolute best in learning skills then surely you're gonna placed through the oncampus opprtunities here. Honestly this college disappoint someone who couldn't manage on their own. He/She might suffer after passing out as not many companies arrive in the campus. I was unable to make it into the tier 1 colleges because I lacked discipline and consistency in learning. The admission process is bit complex here. One has to bring all the required documents and beware of the instructuions given during that time. Honestly I will suggest to carry atleast 25% amount of admission fees and 50% amount of hostel fees. Bcoz for final registration to declare the college allotment fee payments are necessary.
Faculty
Some of the faculty members are really really the best people you can ever interact with. They really are experts in their teaching domain. Students really do attend lectures of these staf bcoz it really helps them to do better in academics.
Night Life
Everything like cafeterias,gym, reading hall are located here. Hostel timings for boys is 6am (opens) -10:30pm(closes) for boys and 6am -9pm(closes) for girls. Mainly people hangout everywhere here be it canteen,grounds etc.As the college is located at hill side there is so much to explore.
