Remarks

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.

Placement Experience

4

I am not sure about the placement, as no batch has passed out yet, but it would be an honour to graduate from BHU. Seeing the faculty and students, the placements should be good. BHU tag is enough for the attractive companies. BHU is known as judges factory, so, no need to worry if you get admitted here. Just work hard to get placed. The placements are going well. After observing 3-4 years of placement data, we can say that the percentage placement of the student is approx 200%. Here, approx 450 companies come for the placement of the students. Some of the companies are of non-core field (as: finance, banking, software, consultant, analytics etc.). Approximately 40% of students got the internship from this college. The highest stipend is 7 lacs for 2months, the average is about 10,000 for 2 moths and lowest is 0 rupees for 2 months offered during their internship.

College Events

4

Spandan(annual function) celebrating every year, there are many events celebrating in this Institution.BHU observes Saraswati puja day (also known as Vasant Panchami) as its foundation day. Goddess Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and nature. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. There is also festival called SPANDAN ( Inter university youth festival) in this festival student represent their faculty/institute in various arts competition like literature (writing essay, poem, debates), Painting, sketches, vocal music, Dancing, singing, drama, mimicry etc. it's held every year after Vasant Panchami in month of February or March.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as this University is a central deemed University and this is India's 3rd ranked university.I think in comparison of similar colleges the fee structure is very much low, there is a reason behind it, our university is a government body. That's why it has a low fee structure. In one word I can say it very much feasible for the low income group of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for the scholarship of education loan. As much I know if you need any of this you will be helped by the staff in every possible way. They are very helpful.Yeah, they provide the scholarship for students and they give travel charge and there is many more facility for students in BHU.they can get a free checkup and free treatment in BHU hospital.

BHU has also got a University Mountaining Centre ‘Earn while learn’ scheme for needful students And if you want some more cultural activities, we’ve got the office of Indian Council of Cultural Relation, right in the premises

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel fees are just rs 3180 for semester 1 and for semester 2 it is 1200. So in total its just about 4400/- yearly excluding food. And the facilities in the hostel are good. Two seater and three seater rooms are available. There is a common room having T.V. Guest rooms are there for residing guests.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Alumni network is very big in this BHU.Senior students came and interact with their juniors and give information and shares experience they proved us how to do and what to do ?Senior Students are also very helpful regarding taking notes and previous year question papers for semester exam.

Admission

I passed entrance exam to take admission in the College. In the feb last week or march first week registration process application form for different courses are started. In the may mid month computer based exam is conducted and in the june month cut off displayed and there after according to the cut off released counselling procces begin, and if the candidate is par the cut off, he/she have to pay the amount for the courses in the same day or after the day of counselling.

Faculty

The faculty members are awesome. You will get best Indian professor who works hard along with the student, so no doubt about the faculty. The courses are well-planned in two half-semester bases. It functions smoothly. It has a well-planned and well-structured curriculum which is very good. Everything is worth here.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Overall, I can say that my experience of the college for postgraduate degree is good as of now. Although the course is good, but, I would want more focus to be put on practical learning because after all, it is a practical subject. Other than that, I am content with the facilities provided by the college. I was very interested in the subject and love it personally, so it is a great experience for me.
