Know my college

If any student wants to grow he will have to focus himself. Their might be distractions but if one overcomes those , he/she will do wonders as many people from the college have qualified national level exams and also have made their way to good mnc's.

The course used to come under BPUT rourkela but as now the college has turned autonomous it has its own curriculum. It is well planned. There will be midsem exams and then semester exams. The lab exams will be conducted at the end of each semester before the exams and will add up with the theory to produce your sgpa.

The placement drive is carried out in the 7th semester. Companies like wipro, infosys, gyansis, cognizant etc come to hire students. The percentage placement in the year 2018 was good. No, college doesnot provide internship. However, some faculties may help you im choosing one.

A number of events are celebrated throughout the year namely- 1. Rythmnova 2. Zygon( cultural fest) 3. Noesis( technical fest) 4. Consonance 5. Diwali dj night 6. Events on Enterpreneurship and other clubs are held every weekend. 7. Sports meet

The fee structure as per my batch 2016-20 was First year( 1.35 lakh+ hostel( 30k) + monthly canteen bill) Second,third and fourth( 1.35 lakh each+ hostel( 30k) + 3000 registration fee per year + monthly canteen bill) *Canteen charges and caferia should be paid monthly and not included in the tution fee.

Loan scheme might be available. Refer to the I-cell of the college for further information. The college however doesnot provide scholarship tests as per my knowledge. But they may help with the financial help when needed.

Extra activities include sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, football, basketball. Sports meet is held every year and students are awarded with prizes for the same. Silicon cup is also organised every year in which other colleges also turn up.

There are two boys hostel and one girls hostel. Both are huge and spacious. Facilities like gym, gyser, sports, commob tv room are available. Each room has three to four beds , tables and chairs and almirah to each student.

Yes, there is a huge alumini network. Every year an alumni meet is held in which ex-seniors turn up and relive college days. They also contribute financial assistance. They also come in events as chief guests and share their experiences.

First you need to appear Jee mains and secure a rank. You will be allowed to choose branches during ojee form fillup. The branch will be decided according to your rank and state also. I did my 12th from Hyderabad and i secured 1.02 lakh rank and i am persuing ECE in Silicon.

The faculty are cooperative. While some are not that good in explaining the concept , there are some exceptionally good faculties which give flavour to subjects. Overall you will be able to develop your skills if you remain in contact with some good faculties.
