Government engineering college sreekrishnapuram

The course I opted is electrical and electronics engineering. It helps in educating us about current related topics. College also helps in developing the personality of each person. It helps on making people self dependent.

The placements provided by college is very less. Only some companies come here for recruitments. The salary packages provided by the companies coming here are also very less. My plan is getting into a good company or preparing for gate exam.

Yearly fee is about eight thousand rupees it includes exam fee and tution fee. For sc/st students these tution fees are not required. Government hostel doesn't have enough vaccancy. Private hostels cost about 18000 per month excluding food.

The main event occuring in the college is invento. It is the tech fest conducted by students of college every 2 years. The name of art fest of the college is Daksha. The library consists of books about all the courses that is being teached here.

The fee in the government hostel is less as they only need to pay for food. Fee for accomodation is not required there. But since the vaccancy is less I am staying in a private hostel and eat food from college canteen or any other hotels.

I applied for different colleges like gec trivandrum, gec trissur and many other colleges. This is the college that I got in the allotment and I opted electrical course as i wanted to learn more about electrical field.

The faculty to students ratio is low. The quality of some teachers are good while there are also teachers who are not that good. There are exams at the end of each sem and 2 series exam each sem. There are total of 8 semesters completed in 4 years.

The. Night life is good as the students can go anywhere in the night. But one of the drawbacks is that the less availability of shops. In holidays most of the hotels doesn't open so finding food is also difficult in holidays
