College located in a peaceful place from town .

Dislikes

College bit more away from town so travelling
Place is not very happening so doesn't suit for people eho loves that vibe

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum includes all courses that enhances knowledge as well as different skills like communication, language, programming, safety, economic balance etc. However curriculum is balanced with all courses and exam time constraints are there.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placment occurs randomly. But core companies are less arrived and hiring. Comparitively IT companies come and hire student. More over placement happens through placement cell. But off campus placements are happening and students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is about 10k yearly that is remmitted a portion in one sem and rest in next sem. There are fee reduction based some scholarships for student those are eligible for the scolarship. It could change as years passing through.

Campus Life

College is student friendly and no restrictions in social medias widely active college pages as there in social medias. Coming to different club activities that is also happening so randomly like student development clubs

Admission

The admission to the college is based on kerala engineering (KEAM) entrance exam. Qualified in the entrance is allotted to different college based on rank in the exam. And select course and college is availed based on occupancy of higher rank student s.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is well maintained. Faculties are free to approach online as well as offline. All staffs dealing with our department are doing the best work to get output as our results. There are mainly 8 exms in a sem including 2 lab exams .

Night Life

Night life is very happening at situation like any celebrations take place college will be very happening other wise it is not as much active. Gym are working after class hours with no time restrictions for boys and till 6 for girls. Clg Hostels timming is till 9:30.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
