My view of my college

I chosed course electrical and electronics engineering because i am a person who don't like coding and programming. But later on i understood any one programming language is necessary in any field. Even college is providing necessary arrangements to help students to learn atleast one programming language. Curriculum is prepared in well defined manner such that each student understand key aspects of their field.

College provided internship opportunities for students. Some companys include siemens, Schneider, TCS cognizant etc with role graduate engineer trainee. The minimum internship period is 3 months with stipend of 20000

For cse and IT more placement opportunities are coming but for other branches placement are comparatively low. Our placement cell is trying to develop placement opportunities. They are conducting several training program to improve the skills in students. If no placement then next step is to find an add on course to get placement very easily

Overall experience with campus Life is very very good. Issue only lies within placement all other are very good. Talking about club , there are many society like IEEE ISTE SAE etc to bring a united feel among students and to encourage activities among students.

Talking about girl private hostel average rent including mess is 4500. Without mess is 1500 And for boys hostel rent including mess is 5000 and without mess is 2000 . The quality of meal is average and varies depending on different hostel. There are many hotel nearby which provides quality food at reasonable rate near to the college. The rented room is so near to college

I am from Thrissur. I applied for government engineering College Thrissur as first option but didn't got as my rank was not enough to get admission in gec Thrissur. When compared to gec Thrissur and nss college of engineering palakkad our college is situated deep inside. So on campus placement are comparatively low. Also transportation is also an issue.. Nearby railway station is (1 hr ) far away.

Faculty - students ratio comes around 1:3 ratio. All the facilities are very dedicated and are friendly minded. Everyone is very helpful in each stage of a student college life. There are 2 series exams and one main exams in an year. Minimum 35 Mark required from both series exam for a student to pass internal. And minimum 40 marks required to get in main exam to pass main exam. If a student have low internals then they need to take up more marks in main exam in order to pass

College union do conduct night dj program camps for girls etc. College has its own canteen , gym library facilities. For ladies hostel the timing is 9:30pm and for other private hostel it varies. Campus timing is also 9:30pm. The college is so safe to hangout at night
