- Eco friendly campus : our campus is so ecofriendly. Having fresh air and unpolluted atmosphere .Good climate for studying and relaxing
- Qualified faculty: teachers are weel educated and trained . And support for studying and placements
- Hostel facilities: college provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls Seperately
Dislikes
- Average food quality : food quality is so poor in hostel and another private mess
- Lacks of break between classes : breaks are low between classes . The time for refreshment and relaxing is very short
- Classroom quality : class is not fully organised for total students
Course Curriculum Overview
Provide a solid foundation in engineering, principles complemented by specilazed courses and faculty. And provide and enhance current advancemnts andyechologies aiming students to prepare for current competitive engineering sector
Placement Experience
There is placement . But only a 10 percentage students got placement and getting good job. Others need to opt other courses and future study . And off campus placements. There is also so many options available as off campus placements . And departments trying to get into more companies for improving placements . There is placement cell and placement commitee in each classes
Fees and Financial Aid
The sem is about 8000 including tution fees andexam fees . Nearly 15000 per year. And i am having oec benefits so i dont want to pay any fees . And am not having any scholarships benefits . I get egrants . It is nearly about 10000 per year.
Campus Life
There is so many clubs . Including charity ,music ,dance ,electronics , electrical etc All are active and students orientated Campus life is quite interesting having fun programs and a great academics .
Hostel Facilities
Iam in a private hostel . Government hostel is limited to students . Others need to opt private hostels Private hostels are almost 5000 per month Including food and wifi . There is more private hostel around hostels
Admission
Admission process is mainly through entrance (keam) But there is also lateral entry(let) for polytechnic students for direct admission to second year . I got admission through lateral entry and admission procedures
Faculty
Faculty members:GEC sreekrishnapuram boost a team of qualified and experienced faculty across various department. Course structure:The college offers undergraduate (btech) and post graduated(mtech) in various engineering. (Mechanical engineering,electrical and electronics engineering,information technology engineering,computer science engineering,civil engineering,electronics and communication engineering) Follow APJ abdulkalam technological university
Night Life
The college is opened until 9 30 Hostels are also opened till 9 30 Libararies also opened till 9 30 So night life is so easy and convinenet in gec . And helps for relaxing and studing.and libarary facility improves more good for students
