i would rate it as moderately relevent and comprehensive with certain areas needing improvements; the curriculum provides a strong foundation in electrical and electronics engineering concepts like power system and control system,basics science and mathematics courses help develop analytical skills required for technical problem solving electives in final years allow students to explore advanced topics; labs and final year project give students hands on experience allowing them to implement theorectical concepts practically

a few core engineering companies visit the campus for recruitment,offering roles primarily in field of study; however the number of companies offering core roles is limited; the majority of placements are in IT and software companies;

my experience with campus life is very excellent; students comes from diverse background which helped me build a strong network pf friends and learn about different cultures; college has many clubs like IEEE ,ISTE,SAE etc which enhance students interactiveness and encourage them in technical activities; there are clubs focusing on dance,music,literature platforms to pursue their creative interests; NSS activities make a sense of social respomsibility like cleanliness etc

there are college ladies hostel and mens hostel where there is only few fees; about other private hostels, the rent with food is about 3500 for girls and 5000 for boys, and if rent only then it is 1500 for both; the quality of food depends on different hostel, majority is poor

i have applied for college of engineering trivandrum,but due to my rank issue i didn't get admission there; some private colleges where i was eligible had high tution fees which made them less feasible for me; admission process include,entrance exam,merit based seat allotment,document verification and fees payment.

the faculty to student ratio in around 3:8. most of the faculties are experienced and have in depth knowledge of their respective subjects,they were approachable for projects,guidence and mentoring;some faculty adopted modern tools like online learning platforms; curriculum is structured to include both core technical subjects; subjects are balanced across semesters to provide a mix of theory, lab work and elective option;opportunities to improve soft skills and technical writing are present but not deeply integrated into the course; about exam structures each semesters have two internal exams and one final exam; minimum of 35 marks required in both internals and in final 40 marks required to pass. lab courses had practical exams and viva voice conducted at end of semester. the marking schemes followed cgpa/sgpa system based on credit points

the college is situated in a peacefel and less urbanised area so there are very few cafes restaurants nearby; students looking for an active nightlife generally have to go to palakkad town which is about an hour away; campus has its on canteen which is opened till 7:30 pm, gym which is opened till 7:30pm, ladies hostel closing time is 9:30 pmand mens hostel closing time is 10:00pm; and the campus closing time is 9:30pm
