Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, balancing theory and practicals. It prepares well for real world use and make students curious which helps them for further higher studies and research. Exams are frequent, moderately tough and evenly timed.

62000 yearwise fees for my course For the 1st and 3rd sem we have to paid 32000 rupees For 2nd and 4th sem we have to paid 30000 rupees There is a scholarship called SVMCM is provided the students passed out from west bengal state board.

Campus Life

Campus life is vibrant with annual fests and tech fests. The library offers vast books and journals, while classrooms are tech-equipped. Sports facilities foster growth while student run groups enrich social and extracurricular life.

Admission

I didn't apply to other colleges as I was aware about this course and faculties. This college has a strong faculty, lab facilities and practical focus. Admissions are merit based and for some few courses like Data Science you have to give an exam which cutoffs are managable and less competetive.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good and professors are very much approachable. Best faculties excel in teaching. Everyone try to be updated about their fields. Exams are moderately tough and the curriculum is largely relevant.

Night Life

Nightlife near campus is lively. Cafeterias close by 10 pm, the gym by 9 pm and the library by 11 pm. Hostels shut at midnight. Popular hangouts include "Chowman", "Let's eat" etc. The area is safe for late walks. Students unwind at food stalls, parks or group study sessions, shaping fun memories.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
