Academically college is very nice and very good infrastructure and facilities
The college construction are work in progress
Behaviour of faculty are very nice and very friendly

Dislikes

Strength of the students are comparatively less
Programs are very rare.but conducted events are awesome
They are very strict if we bunk any class the corresponding faculty contact with the sudent and parents

Course Curriculum Overview

Mainly I like the course I took that's why I selected myself.if we face any disabilities in studying the will provide needful things to overcome the obstacles teaching staff,non teaching staff and management are also very supportive

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm thabseer.I'm paying 50000 per year as tuition fee and I'm studying in management quota.I don't have any scholarship.fees will increase for another quota like nri around 70000. All students should pay 10000 as caution deposit that's mandatory for all

Campus Life

College life is very nice I got somany new friends form my colleage everybody is very nice to talk.the management conduct sports meet arts fest named saya and tech fest named athma these are the main colourful events in an academic year

Admission

At first it is the closest college from home so I can go to home daily.it is the one of the best enginnering college in that area with affordable fees structure.student who pass +2 board they can apply in our college.

Faculty

Mainly there are two exams otherthan university namely series one and series two marks obtained in these two exams are considered as internal.All faculties are very approachable and helping mentality we can ask any doubt at any time

Night Life

Our college located 5km away from the town so we can able to reach town for entertaining and all other things it's a positive point for me there are somany palce to hangout in our area so it's a big relief for us

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

There are no cut off, but you must write entrance exam, Lal Bahadur Shastri Entrence Exam or Central University Exam.you must write one of them to join MCA department. All the froms must be collected from the office of the college itself...Read More
