There is a add on program in the college for building industrial experience. The rest are just like any other college. There are many flaws in the college system which needs to be fixed and improved. The college only focus on academics only.

In Mentor Academy For Design Entrepreneurship Innovation And Technology, the course fees for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is 75000 per year. And the other branches are computer science, cyber security, artificial intelligence and data structure all courses are 75000. And if joining by scholarship it would be 50000

Campus Life

There is no college life in this college and there are not much programs like any other college. Their is a library in the college. There are no sports or arts program in the college. I didn't good experience in this college

Admission

I didn't apply for any other college and was waiting to go to banglore but then this college managememt convinced my parents and last i had no choice and joined this college. I didn't wanted to join this college but i had no choice.

Faculty

Due to less number of students in the college, the faculty-to-student ratio is okayish. But most of the faculties are new joinies and the other faculties are also not that good. Some faculties are nice and friendly but some are not

Night Life

There is no night life in this college. And college doesn't provide night life. The college don't allow the hostelers to leave after 6 and students should enter the hostel before 8:30 and they cannot even step out of the hostel

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I choose this college because the admission team from the college convinced me by telling their future plans. They said that they will provide us add on courses of free which make us earn 50000-100000 per year which allow us to pay our tuition fees as well but not wente in a good way there is only theory now no practical knowledge.Comparing with other colleges there is no celebrations here that is the main negative thing don't getting proper time to enjoy only studies . I chose this college bcs of their convincing. That the college will be very innovative,peer to peer learning,mentor-mentee system,freedom,no traditional system etc They did some of the things the said.
