Course Curriculum Overview
According to the 2024 scheme there is a additional subject called Digital 101 which is online program under nasscom for 30 hours and it provide activity points and certificates.real world application are considerably less and it is more about theoretical knowledge.University exam is out of 60 marks.Time duration is 2 and half hours.Internal score is out of 40.Together you have to score 50 marks out of 100 to pass the subject
Placement Experience
A good amount of students are placed in different companies.But those who are expectionally talented are placed in companies like ibm,tata etc.One of my senior got placed in ibm with a package of 8 lakhs per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
College is under ihrd there are two seats merit and management.For merit students fee will be 45000 per year and for management students fee will 75000 per year.Scholarships are provided for deserving students.This is permanent fee.No other fee will be deducted from students. Events:
Campus Life
College forums conduct a lot of events throughout the year but most of them are paid but there is fee reduction for members of respective forums.CEC have a music band called cec jukebox and dance group called kdc.So there are different events conducted by them.We had a music concert called Encore 2.0 this year.Classromms are really spacious with a capacity of 60+ students.A projector and smart board is provided for all classrooms.A water filter is available in each floor
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are really bad.Some rooms have attached bathrooms but others have to use common bathrooms.Good here is really bad but since the food menu is repetitive we eventually get bored of the food.Travelling late at night is not allowed month hostel fee will be around 4500 to 5500.
Admission
I applied for different private colleges.The fee there was really huge which I couldn't afford.That is the main reason I took admission in this really. You eligible for merit seat in this college of you get a rank above 10000.For management students a rank below 20k is needed
Faculty
Faculties are really approachable.There are more than 2 faculties for each subject.For me physics faculties are good.They provide a stress free atmostphere for students.I find electronics lab most hectic in first semester they give as a lot of work.
Night Life
Since CEC is in town every necessary things is available there.There are lot of shop around college.College canteen is also spacious with capacity of 150+ students at a time.Girls hostel will be closed after 6.30 and will open at 6.00.You are advised to enter before 6.30 pm and is allowed only to leave after 6.00 am
