Remarks

No bad remark from my side. This is gonna be the best place for overall development.

Entrance Preview

GATE-2012, I scored 99.2 percentile and opted for this college because this was the best among all IITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Courses are very nice, you get the freedom to opt for any course you want to learn. Again you get the flexibility to credit/audit a course. A credit course will affect your overall grade whereas the audit course will just add knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is also provided. I was provided 8000/- per month of stipend. There are two categories TA and RA. TA are given 8000/ pm and RA are given 9000/- per month.

Placement Experience

Placement is pitty good in IITB. More than 200 firms visit the IITB campus every year. The average compensation they offer is above 7 LPA.

College Events

Mood Indigo is celebrated every year in the month of December is Asia's largest college cultural festival. People across the globe take part in this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is not that expensive. You pay less for what you get in return. Knowledge is priceless. The motto of IITB is knowledge in the supreme goal and faculty go by the philosophy.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility is not offered by the college but you can easily get a loan from banks. sbi and Canara banks provide loans to the student seeking it.

Campus Life

As already specified in the up above column. 3 hostels are for ladies and 13 are for gents. You can think of the ratio. extracurricular events are there, and you get all kinds of events being organized inside.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good too. There are 16 hostels. Three hostels are for girls and the rest 13 are for boys. They do provide singles room to the students studying in a final or pre-final year.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students do help juniors from time to time. Their guidance is required at times where you have less knowledge and you are required to take decisions.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very nice. There are papers which are open book/open notes exam. Exam-style is entirely dependent on individual profs.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
