Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of its relevance with real world industrial problems and it's solutions to resolve it .it supports sustainable development . The curriculum needs to be more practically oriented rather than theory oriented . The frequency of examination is within six months .the difficulty of examination is moderate and students get enough for preparation so almost every student's pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities for students associated with industries.ibm ,visdom ,jsw ,j and j sourcing are the companies that provides internship opportunities.the role of software developer, buisness analyst and sales manager are offered
Placement Experience
The college provides placement opportunities and training . students can apply at their seventh semester even with active backlogs too .seventy five companies are associated with placement cell.most companies visited are TCS , cognizant Wipro Accenture sap MRF Shobha developers etc .the Highest and lowest package is around 25lpa and 3.5lpa .the average package is around 4.5lpa . almost fifty students got placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is divided year wise.first year students have to around 20k . For the successive years fees is around 10k .the first year fees includes caution deposit which is refundable, department fees,lab fees, development fees . there's fees reduction scheme for SC ST and OBC category students.college also provides scholarships for economic weaker sections.
Campus Life
The college promotes extra curricular activities,social interactions and cultural events.dyuthi is the multinational techfest conducted by our college.our college also conducts sports and arts events annually .they are various social clubs run by students.these include IEEE , iSTE IGDC etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is spacious and clean.the accomodation is for three per room . additional too there's waiting room ,study area and reading room too .the admission process is through gform which is authorised by college authorities. the criteria is based on distance,merit and income .theres private hostel and pg nearby.
Admission
I only opted for this college because of its placement opportunities and infrastructure. The admission process is through keam /jee entrance score .the difficulty of exam is moderate . The cutoff for chemical engineering is around 5k .
Faculty
The faculties are very friendly and supportive. we have well expertised and qualified faculties .they are available to each and every students .they encourage doubt asking. They are two university semester examination each year and external lab examination too .each sem there's two internal series examination .the difficulty of exam is moderate so almost fifty percent students pass . The curriculum is relevant to real world industrial problems and it's solutions.
Interview Experience
Admission Process is through entrance examination.the cutt off is around 5k rank on keam . The aspirants need to focus on physics , chemistry and mathematics .plus two marks also be considered for admission .
Night Life
Our college is 24hr on campus.the department, library,cafeteria and store closes by 5 pm . There's lots of hangout places inside and outside in our campus .zoo measuem vadaknathan temple park are located nearby
