Course Curriculum Overview

I think mechanical engineering is like mother of all branches and its scope is wide and greater... There are so many things to study in an mechanical engineering degree..as a boy this is really good and good

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year 64000 paying its semwise 32,000 and 32,000 Actually i dont get any scholarship, don't know why... But mostly ST and SC students has greater scholarship and they also hv to pay compartively leas fee and exam fee etc

Campus Life

Yeah campus is literally great....there so my activities also there so one can also participate like events like sports,nss ,ncc for social skill development and curriculums...and there are organization like IEEE and branch association for the progress and development of carrier..

Admission

Moreover it is near to my location and has a good infrastructure and best staffs and placements in recent years... Bus service is also one of the plus point of the college and it is well known college in palakkad (private).

Faculty

Our department is very good and productive A semester has 2 internal exams and 2-3 assignment submission to get the internal marks A person who decently passing both internal exams and assignment property will get the internals safely..

Night Life

There are gym available.....and its really usable to hostelers...and our hostel is also decently good...food is ok....Hostel is balanaced moreover than strict...friendly environment inside....no one can go out after 6 pm

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
