Good behaviour from faculties and college staffs...staffs are always ready to support at any time you want.most of the faculties are very friendly and understanding our situations and help us to improve ourselves very much...labs are also very good

Dislikes

There is no campus inside the college...the college is built in a single building and no campus around tha college.the another thing I dislike is that the programs are not that great comparing to other colleges..and the clg canteee is pure vegonly

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum are nice and not that difficult...it is not that hard by the way.the faculties are cool and friendly with us they encourage us to study and for all activities like arts and sports

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internships and placements in different companies.... companies like mahindra,infosys etc are all in a deal with the college and a lot of students are getting placements from this college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like...30000 rs per sem and 60000 per year....The total fees for a 4 year course is 60000x4=240000rs. This structure is for ECE and EEE courses.For CSE and AI DS cources,the fee structure is 42500 rs per sem and 84000 rs per year..and for completeing the course 85000x4=340000 rs

Campus Life

Life is good at the college.The college mainly focus on studies and there isn't many programs other than university programs.There is no union in the college.Sports and arts are conducted nicely and they encourage us to join those.

Admission

I heard about this college from a family friend and he arranged a seat there.The admission process was like a interview but not a test for us.They told about the college and its background.The university is KTU.

Faculty

The college a little bit strict and faculties are cool.I chose this cource because I am interested in technology and computers..The college staffs are really close to us and they will help us study good.

Night Life

There is no night life inside the college...even most of the students are from long distance...still the college buses reaches there...so most of the students are dayscholars...and there is only a few students in hostel

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

College admission is purely based on our entrance score and the way we given the priority of college to get admission in college of engineering thalassery qe should attend keam entrance exam otherwise you can get into the management seats which will costs 1lakh per year.
