- The enviornment where the college situates a peaceful atmosphere it is surrounded by trees and the classes are situated at a place which is away from the road side which offers a peacefull atmosphere for studying
- Since the college consists only one block for all the departments the interaction between students can be imprived beacause of the closed atmosphere which helps in a social interaction between students
- This college is regareded as the top 2 college in our district which offers a best placement and internship programs and well conducted in our college
Dislikes
- Since the college contains only a small space the college offers a bad experience for sports activities and a big stage for conducting cultural programmes
- The infrastructure of the college is bit worse since it is runned by government the lab facilities lack some infrastructure
- The faculty team should be replaced with youth which would be easy to understand the students and their mindset old faculty will only think in their viewpoint .So implementing a young faculty could improve the engagement of students in the class hour
Course Curriculum Overview
The main problem of the curriculum is the time duration of the semester the actual duration of the semster is 6 months but this year it is only 2 and half months this leads to huge trouble for the student and also there is many biology student who have opted the computer stream this makes them uncomfortabe to study the computer programming during this short time period. the curriclum does not prepares the student for the real- world application it only trains you to write the exams which is the main problem .
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fee consists of Tution fee: 76000 pta fund: 5000 registration fee:1000 lab fees:2500 total: 83500 I have choosen the management quota and the fees for this is mentioned above there is also governement quota and NRI quota where the governement quota offers a tution fees of 45000 and the rest is same whereas theNRI offers a fees of 3 lakh per annum the above mentioned fees is only for the first year the remaining three years will only consider the tution fees of the respective quotas
Campus Life
The college has an annual festivals called the cult away which is usually held in the month of may and also it has technical festivals like dhwythi which is condected by the clubs like IEEE and also there are other tech festivals which is being conducted by mechartans, CSI, NSS. there is a big library which has many book contans the famous writers and teachers and professors. sports activities are minimum in the campus due to the insufficient of a ground in the college
Admission
This is the top 2 college in my district which is best for the placement and best interships. i also approached for college of engineering trivandrum which is the most best college in our state.these two are same for their curriculum and subjects which differs them is the interships and placements the cet offers a better placmenets than the sct .due to its his demand i didnt get admission in cet due to low rank as compared to sct. The sct is governement aided college, the admission process is through the kerala entrace exam and according to your rank the seat of the course is allocated
Faculty
Sine this year the starting of the course had been late the first semester need to completed before december mid so the duration of the course was only 2 and half months and the portions was still the same this leads to the hardships of the student to complete a given portion in the exam. Some faculties are very freindly and some are very rude which makes the student uncomfortable to study that subject. the semeseter exam is on dec 31 which is a hard deadline for the student and the teachers need to complete their portions before the calculated time so some are fast forwarding the class which makes the students in big trouble . I dont have a name of a particular teacher to hate or to be loved
Night Life
The college consists of two cafeterias one is for luch and breakfast and the other one called the mini canteen which is beatifully set under a tree which paves way for a peaceful atmosphere fo the students to vibe around the canteen which offers sweets and desserts . the college does not own hostels soo private hostels are setup around the surrounding of the college . The working of the college is only till 6:30 soo night life is not menorable
