- The college view is awesome it is situated at the bank of dal lake
- Faculty is much supportive and students are extremely talented
- Location is good it is situated at the centre of the city
Dislikes
- Campus size is not so big and for North students there are some season issue during winter
- Hostel management are worst right now but new hostels are making by institute
- Fest and clubs are not much active only one event took place in a year
Course Curriculum Overview
Their are two exam mid sem and end sem in a semester you have to do self study course will be completed by faculty but understanding by them is not a cup of tea ? exam are moderate level and you have to work hard if you want to score 8+ or 8.5+ cgpa
Internships Opportunities
Intership are provided because I am a first year student so I don't know about much but according to my seniors internship in nit Srinagar is excellent around 70-80% got internship or PPO in their third year of graduation
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement after passed the third year many companies like Oracle vedanta LNT e.tc. visit campus for placement the highest package of this year is 42 lpa by oracle Around 85-90 percent student placed in mechanical branch .
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying 125000 thousand per year for the tution fees and 20 thousand per semester for mess and 15 thousand per semester for hostel . There are some benefits for students whom parents income below 1 lakh and less than 5L. They can get 100% and 66% tution fees waiver respectively
Campus Life
There are two big event techvaganza which a technical fest and second one is rang a chinaar which is a cultural fest all the subjects book available in Library sports facilities are excellent badminton cricket running football volleyball tennis table tennis facility available for all the sports
Admission
My intrest was in circuital branch but my rank is not so good so I have to take mechanical engineering at nit Srinagar because this is the best option which I can get at my crl rank so I choose it . Admission process is in nitsrinagar done by jee score and josaa and csab counseling process
Faculty
Faculty are very good and very educated all are the experienced !! You just have to remember that don't going against them they will do best as they can Exam are moderate level some subjects like ED and all can bother you otherwise all are at easy level
Night Life
Boys hostel timing at night till 11 pm for girls it is around 8 pm gym facilities also provided cafeteria available inside there a view of dal lake if we talking about outside many tourism places like gulmarg sonamarg pahalgaam doodhpathri e.t.c you are totally safe in nit Srinagar campus . There is some risk out side the campus because it is in Kashmir Srinagar
