Likes
- The first thing I liked was the college campus because it is Greenery everywhere.
- The second thing was the college library, and reading rooms with air conditioning. Washrooms was decent. And the infrastructure was also good at all.
- The third thing was the teachers they are well behaved and too good towards Students.
Dislikes
- The first thing was there is no Financial aid or scholarship for students who resides outside of Delhi.
- The second thing was not having air conditioning in the classrooms.
- And the third one is the office member which was is in a hurry and sometimes they don't hear or resolve your problems which was so ridiculous.
Course Curriculum Overview
Im interested in commerce so without thinking any other streams I prefer to choose b.com hons. The curriculum of uod was so good unlike other state university. There is no need to update the curriculum because it is best for us. The frequency of exams was so good.
Internships Opportunities
Our college organizes internships fair by placement cells. Every year around February. So many students getting internship and placement through that. I'm in 2nd year but I don't get any internships from my college. But my friend who got internship have good experience with that.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year Student became eligibility for campus placement. There are various companies like Amazon, Deloitte tcs and some other small startups which gave varieties of offer to students. Fees and Financial Aid
Hello everyone this is arsh from ghaziabad, uttar pradesh. So, I have taken admission in SLC university of Delhi in 2023. The college campus was too good. The total yearly fees of student belongs to any categories was same approx. I'm persuing b com. Hons. So my 1sr year fees was about 23400 and 2nd year fees was 24700 that means it increases every year and it was same for every student whether he/she belongs to any categories. It contains allover cost of the year except examination fees which is around 2000 per semester. But the main drawbacks was there is no scholarship or financial aid.
Campus Life
There are various festivals held in college campus like bangra night, du fests, and feshers party and many other social gatherings. In Library the availability of books was not good at all. The books was so old about 8 to 9 years. The facility in classroom was normal like a bulb and a fan. Our college have great sports and extracurricular activities over all du colleges.
Admission
So the main purpose of choosing this college was it is a college of university of Delhi. And the second thing was it was close to my home about 30 km. So I don't need to love in a shitty hostel. And the admission process was so lengthy and competitive you can find all details on the uod website about the admission process.
Faculty
The relationship of faculty to student was not bad otherwise I can say it was too good at all. The best faculty of our college was the department commerce. The teacher was so calm and gentle. The other faculty like political studies was not good at all. They are always in a hurry and not interested in teaching students. There are only 2 exams held in a year. Which was not tough if you study enough to tackle them. The marking schemes was decent at all.
Night Life
The Best places of nightout was cannaught place. And jama masjid which have great variety of non veg????. But I live at my home so i can't hang at night at my college campus. But the locality of my college was decent.
