- Underqualified teachers, we got unqualified teachers to teach the professional subjects
- One of the blocks is under construction, the noise is disturbing the classes
- According to the seniors the placements were not good
Course Curriculum Overview
I have selected bcom hons with ACCA, because i have a keen interest in accounting and pes university offered a 9paper exemption in acca. They should hire acca members to teach us where we know that we are in safe hands The exam is 3hr 15mins long and consists of 4units. Each unit carries 25marks. As the dificulty, it is moderate
Placement Experience
As I'm doing an honours course, placement is eligible from 7th sem. We are the pilot batch for acca, so have no knowledge on the companies offered My plans after degree is to do masters in business administration
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees to be paid is 2 lacs and an additional 10,000 for the first year. The junior's fees has increased to 2.5 lacs. There are two types of scholarships, where if the student scores 7.75 sgpa, they get a 10,000 scholarship and if the student gets 8.5 sgpa, they get a 40,000 scholarship
Campus Life
There are many clubs in our college, i had joined the finance club and was the cordinator for an event. I also took part in events related to photography and such. There are many events for every branch and there is one main event called the aatma trisha which is conducted once every year
Admission
I applied to christ and st Joseph's. For Christ interview, everything went well but fumbled the last question, and sjcc, didn't get a chance for an interview. To get admission in pes, there is an interview to attend, where you will get selected, there is 50% cutoff for pu board exam.
Faculty
Per semester theres around 5-6 subjects. Each semester has 2 internals and one externals and assignments and projects along with it. The internals are MCQ based. The total internals and assignments are scored for 50, the external is written for 100 and later reduced to 50. Most the faculties were underqualified, didn't teach that well and later blamed us, the students. But there were few gems who taught everyone including the last benchers like sri hari sir
Night Life
The college is open till 8pm. There many hangout places near college, there is gopalan arcade mall, there's metro access, there is gulp restrobar, and many other restaurants, the juice center near the back gate has one of the best Oreo shakes
