- I like the extracurricular activities exposure which vit college give to student to participate in various event .
- There is also great teaching staff who have great knowledge about there feild . There is also event and hackathon where there is competition and we can learn many thing
- As the college is autonomous there are limited course subject which are needed for future and personal and professional development
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is good but not well maintained there is not good facilities in gym the gym condition is so bad and old
- The classs size is 72 so that there are many student and there is no proper individual teching . The cs feild is also competitive feild
- Because this year the student intake has increased so that there is can be lack of job in future and every student will kot get desired job there are total 4000 student in vit this year whcih is drawback for upcoming future
Course Curriculum Overview
The aspect of curriculum of artificial intelligence and data science I hav einterest in it to learn. And also it is future growing feild it has very good future that now eveything is coming with ai and it will be future . The course of college is allinged with better outcome and have great diversity of courses offered the area of improvement I think is of there practical labs can be more better . The teaching method for labs is not more interactive teacher only give problem statement and we need code it all student who did get code with using chatgpt . There is no fixed schedule of college it call us sometime at moring for 6 hrs or sometimes for 4 hrs at evening
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees I was paying is 192000 which is spot round fees of open category . I have taken admission through spot round so that I need to pay open category fees .Through Management many has taken admission and. Payed 20lakh for cs estimated . For obc category the fees is 110000 . And sc fees is 5k something
Campus Life
There are many techfest in vit collge . The firstly there is fresher party for fy student and after midsems exams there is vishwostav fest which is best of all . Next there is vishwacon also where there is games and speaker from best of therir feild come and give us life knowledge. There is also cresendo which is intercollge competition in every sports . There are many clubs in collge which can help you out to find your interest in many domians . The intercollge sports are very interesting and have so much fun in it . There is also many hacakthon which are created for student with exciting prizes and certificates
Admission
The other college which I apply was dy Patil akurdi , pccoe akurdi, pcooer ravet , pict ,coep . I have choose this college because it has good a placement record of past year and it's increasing every year . The network with company of vit is good so that I can get good placement in initial year of my engineering. My percentile is quite low to get top collge so that the best collge for my level was vit pune . So in spot I got my interested branch .the eligibility for vit collge is through giving MHT cet scam or jee mains entrance exam . For MHT cet you need nearly 97 percentile for open category student to get into this collge and get any technical branch . For jee mains the cutoff is 93 -94 percentile for open category .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio approximately 1:15 and faculty to student relationship is good but some teacher no teach good only teach theory they don't get affected if student is getting it or not or understanding the concept they don't care in short . But some faculty are good as well as our math sir who is very chill and teach us very good and ask if there is doubt and teach until eveyone is clear the concept.the faculty which I didn't like is for subject python for engineering the mam is so rude and didt teach as expected always reading ppt . The exam is strictly happens and there is external in viva who examine our knowledge and ask questions about particular subject's
Night Life
The facility of gym is not good the equipment are old and not well maintained. Infact the collge charge us for gym facility in our fees but not work on it . The 90ts old equipment with lot of dust is there . No proper ground is maintained there is so much dust on it . After the collge student can go to canteen or evn in break the can go and have lunch there is also a cafe for coffee . There is boat club where's student came and marketing the clubs merchandise the games for. I didn't live in collge hostel and camius. Timing can be from 9 to 6 evening there is only 5 days collge in a week . For hangout one can go to nearby zoo in katraj or by cuty bus to fc road whcih is great place for night out.
