Sri Venkateswara college review

This course is only available in 7 colleges in India and our college is one of them to have this course. This course more popular in foreign countries and have more importance there. I like this course because it opens gate for many reasearch opportunities and it has all the fields related to science. There is a lot practical work in this cohere so it make us prepare for more lab work out there. Although the course focused on theory and practical part both but I think it should be more focused on the practical part. I think if you prepare well and studied in the class well then the exams are not at all difficult.

I don't know much about the internship opportunities but one that I know of was offered by our college only and it was unpaid. There were many fields that we could have chosen from for the internship.

Everyone in our course have the same fee structure. So the overall fee structure yearly would be somehow around 40,000. In our first year, our dem fee was around 18k but it got increased in our third sem, and it was somehow around 20k. Our college also provide scholarship for the reserved categories and based on the last semester marks.

We have annual fest known as nexus and it generally held between march and July. There are different societies in our college for everything so they organise different fests in different months. Almost all the book that mentioned in our syllabus, we get all that from our library. There are bandminton teams, volleyball, basketball, tennis etc. There are clubs like HR club, marketing soc, dance club, singing club and many more.

I have applied to Gargi, Hindu, Miranda, Hansraj and BHU along with Sri Venkateshwara college. I got into bsc program in BHU but i choose this for it's course. I gave CUET UG exam and got selected according to the marks and the admission process was quite smooth and everything was online.

The faculty to student ratio for our course is decent. There is not such bonding between students and professors except for few. Though the faculties are quite approachable. Biochem professors are good like they teach well and help in the lab practical's. The physics faculty is not that great as they aren't that friendly. We have internal exams, then practicals and then main theory exams along with viva in one semester. There is rarely any student seem to fail the exmas.

My favourite hangout spot is cafeteria and Maggie point. There is no gym and all the other places like cafeteria, library, labs get close around 5 pm. My college locality is safe even around 10 or 11 pm. Some famous hangout spots are foyer, rock garden, front lawn etc.
