Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course because my parents liked it and it's a good and noble profession since it's a professional course , this course is Directly related to real world and teaches us many things including good communication, the faculties teach us fair enough we cannot expect them to put any more efforts , exams are generally present every 3 months that are internal exams and yearly one final exam

Internships Opportunities

4

Since it's a medical College (Government) the internship is in the OPD itself and is compulsory for every student after 4th year and the stipend varies for 20000 rupees to 25000 rupees the role is basically a duty doctor

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year of our college , the fees for my particular category was 60100 for college and 5600 for extracurricular activities but after that in second year the college fees is about 65500 and whatever events that are held are completely by students participation which means whatever events occur the fees for that event need to be collected from the students itself and the hostel fees for 5 years is 36500 but we also have to pay a monthly mess fees of 3200

Campus Life

4

The names of the annual events are different every year and are based on the process that the students decide a good name for the event and then they propose it to the concerned professor responsible for the event and there are many events occurring every year and purely depend on the students There is a vast range of books in the library Basic facilities are provided but we do not have wifi Our classrooms have AC Sports events are also arranged every year twice or thrice Many student run groups are present and can be joined by the particular student's preference

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is clean enough not excellent but good enough no issues are there even if any issue arises it's solved as soon as possible We have tables ,chairs and good quality beds Meal quality is good since it's a student mess Hostel is quite affordable

Admission

This is a government college so I joined it through counselling I chose this because I had seen that it had good ratings on Google and has a well reputation in colleges in Karnataka and I couldn't get other better government colleges because I had not gotten ha good enough rank for those colleges Anyone can join this college by being eligible and having the required rank in NEET UG and admission process is through KEA or any other counselling authorities

Faculty

4

The faculties are good enough and have a fair experience, some faculties have very good experience in the patients interaction and teach us almost clinically related things , the faculties do help us in studying and do not completely ignore the students

Night Life

4

Since it's a medical College campus the nightlife is good we have some cafeterias that are open almost 24 hours and gyms are also present For first year the hostel timings are upto night 8 PM but once we are In second year and after that there is absolutely no restriction Inside the college hangout places such as' anatomy katte ' and outside the campus we have nearby tourist spots such as hampi

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
