Course Curriculum Overview

4

I feel I choose this course due to its specialization in both software and hardware field. Proper Practical sessions are conducted and students are allowed to perform each experiment on their own , which is an appriciable part of course. The Exams are conducted according to completion of syllabus , on completion of 40% syllabus First unit test is conducted and on completion of 80% syallabus Second unit test is conducted. difficulty of exam is correct and important topics are given more priority.

Internships Opportunities

3

Infosys , Bharat Forge LTD , Polycab India LTD, are some of companies that hire from campus. many opportunities are give from college, and many projects are also given to us for our development.

Placement Experience

3

from 6th semester onwards students get eligible for placements and internships. Companies like Infoysis, Bharat Forge LTD, Polycab LTD , visit the college for campus placements. highest package: 12 LPA average package: 6 LPA my plans after degree are to pursue M.E and do a part time job for supporting myself.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have took admission under General/EBC , so I was getting scholarship and so instead of complete fee of approximately Rs. 120000/- , I had to pay only Rs. 71605/- . According to fees its better and affordable , break down of total fees (Rs. 120000/-) :- tution fees : Rs. 97000/- development fees : Rs. 15000/- exam fees : Rs. 2000/- others : Rs. 6000/- this was the fees i paid for 1 year for my further years that is next more 3 years the fee structure won't change drastically and also for future years i will be availing/applying for the scholarship by college and government. On Comparing my fee structure with one of my friends i feel i'm at a much affordable college with quality education. he is paying around Rs. 500000 /- per year and every year he will be paying Rs. 500000 + extra 8% and i feel that is really a lott .

Campus Life

4

Annual festivals are sports events that take place in january named abhiyan, even many exhibitions and other events are organised by each department students. college's student counciil arranges many events over a period of year. all the clubs and groups are run by students efficiently, and all events are arranged by students.

Admission

I had applied for many colleges , like , Datta Meghe , Thana College , KC college , AP SHAH , but i this college , bharti vidyapeeth , due to its popularity and good campus , placements & internships , affordable fee structure. yess , i did got rejection from other college which were more popular ones , the major problem was i was under general category and cut-off for general category was very high and i didn't took admission via management quota due to high fees. For Taking admission in my college a person should opt for PCM in 12th grade and have 75% in PCM , even exams like JEE , MHT CET can help secure your seat in bharti vidyapeeth. I took admission via CAP round so first basic process of CAP then on seat acceptance, we went physically and completed the admission process by carrying few documents like 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, 12th LC & adhar card. admission experience was great and process was much simpler.

Faculty

4

Faculty for Theory Lecture is 1 for 65 students and for practical lectures it is 1 to 20-25 students. All Faculty members are very helpful and expertise in their respective field. they are approachable to students any time for resolving doubts. Especially I liked the faculty for Chemistry , C-Programming and Maths . once you sit for their lecture and one complete revision at home you will be confident for the exams and really score good. In my personal opinion i didn't really liked the faculty of physics , Because we didn' t understood what they were trying to explain. There are Total three exams per semester , two unit tests and one end semester examination , since i just gave my first semester i feel the study material provided was beneficial. The unit test conducted were in accordance with mumbai university paper pattern and the difficulty level was moderate very similar to the semester paper by Mumbai University.

Night Life

4

Hostel timimg for in-out is till 8pm . college's main cafeteria closes at 6pm but hostels mess facility is open till 10pm. hostel is within the campus . the locality is safe to roam at night but too late is not recomended. the mall near kharghar & mall at seawoods is famous hangout spots.
