Lovnesh Raheja's Review On Delhi College Of Arts And Commerce - [DCAC], New Delhi

College management, societies, students; all are working to increase college's reputation and goodwill. But I think if the management will take more interest, than the day will not far when DCAC become one of the best commerce college of India.

Well, I took admission in DCAC, (Delhi University) on the basis of my 12th results. I scored 95.5% and thus, it matches with the 3rd cutoff list. Moreover, I want to pursue MBA and then my own business in future so I thought this is the best course and the reason of choosing this college is, it is one of the coolest and most happening college of DU.

As far as the syllabus is concerned, I must say if you will start studying before one month of the exams, then you can easily score 75%-85% in Bcom hons. Course is not that much difficult. And most importantly, you can't rely on faculty to pass the exams in DU. Self study is the only option that helps us in achieving our grades. I am not saying that teachers are not interested in teaching, but they are not that well that you can be convinced to attend the class. Only reason for the students to attend classes is Attendance

Well, internship is also a wonderful experience for me. I already done internship in MyRefers, got placed there during an event organised by one of my college society (Vyapaar- The Entrepreneurship cell of DCAC) I worked for one month there and it was all a different environment, corporate exposure full of work, chill outs, targets. I learned alot from this, my leadership and management skills are really enhanced after this. I received my internship letter and stipent of Rs. 3000 from this internship.

There is no doubt that placement cell of our college is very active and working in an appreciable manner. There are many companies that come for the recruitment drives. Some of them are KPMG (both Indian and Global) , E&Y, Aon Hewitt, Hdfc Bank and many more including MNC's and start ups. Normal packages are offered upto 5 lac (ranging from 3-6 lacs depending upon companies).According to me, 50% of the crowd is easily placed that appered for placement in their dream companies and rest are in others.

Fests are also amazing and I am damn sure no DCACian dares to miss that. From annual cultural fest to different societal and departmental fests, our college organises puts its best to bring them. Approximately footfall of 3000 students were experience in our last year cultural fest named AMBROSIA.

Actually no, I have no clue of any loan or scolarships as I did not apply for any till now. But as far as I know, in my first semester most of the students applied for CBSE scholarship and few were selected and received ?10000 per year for the total duration of 3 years.

No doubt, Campus environment is very very cool. According to me, girls boys ratio is equal. And now comes to the best part of our college i.e. its societies. According to me these are the societies that I can define as my actual college life. Their meetings, extraordinary events, hangout sessions, fundraising and after parties, all are like the best experiences of my college life.

Seniors are amazing, supportive, cool nature. Not interacted with any alumni. But all I know is one can easily fell in love with this college.

There is no hostel facility available by our college. Only options available are Paying Guests and rented flats. The cafeteria of our college is okay. Food available is not very yum but you can manage. I personally love the Chole Chawal of our canteen. It
