All about CEMK at a glace.

There is positive and negative things of everything this college has also these things. As the fee structure, mess charge and room charge is among the lower range so students can live here easily and very good opportunities for IT students. But the non IT students faces problem for campusing and hostels facility does not fulfil the healthy living criteria. I will suggest the students to take admission here with IT and CSE for good future.

As it is under MAKAUT university(Formerly WBUT)., the course curricullam was followed according do the WBUT. There was total 4 years and 2 semester in every year. So total 8 semester and total 6 department(ME, EE, ECE, EIE, CSE ans IT).

Though it has no-IT trades like ME, EE, EIE and ECE but 90% of its placed students placed through IT companys. Leading companys are TCS, Infocys and Tech Mahindra.So the students of ME EE also forced to go in IT sectors. And on an average 50% of total students get placed every year. There are no such internship programme offered by our college at that time.

Many events celebrated in college likes of 26 September, 15th august., annual sports, cricket tournament, annual fest and much more. But the main attraction is the annual tech and cultural fest of our college. Every students waits eagerly for these 4-5 days. Here students get a chance to express their technical ability by participating the completion like robotics, computer gaming, circuit designing and many more. And also can enjoy music and dances by famous artists.

Fee structure is absolutely good here.It is minimum among the all non-govt B.Tech colleges in West Bengal. Total fees are 72000,74000,76000 and 78000 in respective four years and all years are divided in four part i.e. querterly. And the University Exam fee is 2000/year.

Yes there is very helpful scholarship available.In my view that is very helpfull.Their is internship available for Economically backward and meritorious students of 12000 to 24000/ year depends upon their criterias.If a students fulfil the required criterias all he get up to 24000/year.I get 24000 each for 3 year and 12000 in 4th year.

This is good for the students with extra technical interests or sports interests or any other good interests. As they organizes many workshop and educators from IITs come to teach and they take a test of technical ability. Selected students can performs in programmes organises by those IITs. Labs are not so good as many instruments does not work and all you can learn is the thery but not so bad also. Annual sports is there for interesting students. Their is different athletics sports events take place.

Yes, Hostel rooms are not so good. Problem in both rooms and water and main problem is for toilets and bathrooms. Food is mediam no so bad. 1600rs/3 months for room and 9000rs/3month for food. So good for the students wants to live with low costs.

Aluminis network is available but not so much good for the passout students to get a job. They come to our fests and give speeches for our better knowledge and they give some references for companies for recruitment but this does not came very helpfull but you can get sources of companies where you can give interviews.

Qualified in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2012 and get a chance in this college in first councelling.I ranked 13000 in Joint Examination and I tried for TFW cota(As this cota was free of cost). But that was already fulfiled by better student so I went for the normal admission.

The faculty members of college was average. Because some of the teachers was very good to understand and also with good knowledge but some teachers was with very good knowledge but was not understandeble. I chosen EIE trade and 50% teachers was easily understadable but some was not like undestandable.BSH and other dept teachers was very good. I will rate whole faculty 6/10
