Students' Review

Regulations in timing in our college are necessary this time. At last, I want to conclude by saying There is nothing called best, improvement is necessary for everything. That's why i can't say this or that college is best. Being best is the main thing. At least I want to say is good colleges of West Bengal.

A range of credits from 150 to 160 for a student to be eligible to get B.Tech Degree in Engineering. The additional 20 credits (for obtaining B. Tech with Honours) are to be gained through MOOCS. These could be acquired through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).

The Placement Cell works closely with students and employers alike to ensure the right students are connected with the right companies.Placements for computer science and engineering, information technology, electronics and communication engineering are good, but there are very few companies for core branches. In one word we can say software companies are more than core branch companies. Approximately 70-80% of students placed from the software branches. Yes, my college provides internship and workshop. The cell recently organized a business seminar in tandem with Ernst & Young as well as a corporate workshop with KPMG to offer students a feel of the corporate world. The top on-campus recruiter was Ernst & Young, recruiting 50 students for various positions within the company.

COLLEGE EVENTS is the most important thing about BCREC. Our college celebrate a large number of event every year. I would firstly like to discuss our techfest. There are many activities like tech quiz, treasure hunting, robowar and many more, then comes the cultural fest. In cultural fest, many celebrities are invited to make the time more memorable.

As every college of West Bengal, our college has the same fee structure. Tuition fee:- 40,000/- to 44,000/- (depend on semester) Library fee:- 750/- Exam fee:- 1,200/. Development fee:- 500/- In total, we have to pay approximately 45,000/- at every semester.

Yes, the college provides a loan to every willing student. Students also can get scholarships basis of their merit and marks. There is also a scheme of WFS, (WEST BENGAL FEESHIP) which makes the semester fee full free or half free, for applying this the student must belong to West Bengal.

Our college has also provided a list of 30 Activity Heads along with the capping of the Activity points that can be earned by a student during the entire B.Tech duration. In every semester, every student is required to prepare a file containing documentary proof of activities. And there more chances of labs and participation of various sports.

I don't stay at College hostel so I'm unable to answer the question about the food of Bcrec hostels, but as I listened from my friends that the food is not good every day, there is a special day In a week when only the hostellers get good food, and I can say the hostels rooms are good, well maintained, clean.

Every senior are very familiar to their junior student, they help their junior student at every step, and the bonding between them is very close. There are also have an alumni group for out pass out students.

At first i choose science stream in Higher Secondary. After passing Higher Secondary examination I have qualified the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) and got a good ranked. After that i followed the counseling process of WBJEE and chosen my college.

I believe that Dr. B.C.Roy Engineering College is a great institution to receive a college education. Our college has a very big football ground, a very big cricket ground, a well-maintained basketball court, a well-maintained badminton Court. And a large amount of space for karate practice every evening. There is also separate multigym for boys and girls. Every student can access this facility.
