- Good infrastructure of campus and happy campus life
- No party fights inside the campus in name of parties

- Canteen food is not much satisfied,no more facilities in the canteen
- College is situated in a remote area,there for transportation is not smooth
- No auditorium for campus,this make difficulties for conducting programmes
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not much updated.I can't say the curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits.The syllabus is more concentrated in practical experience and relevant new emerging technologies
Placement Experience
College offers placement for the final year students.Comapnies like TCS,UST,Qburst, Cognizant....etc are offers made .The average package company offered is 3-4 Lpa . Student are also opt for higher studies .
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for btech course over 55810,with variations due to the changes in the examination fee and the exclusion of some first year only fees.While the tution fee remains constant,the examination fee sees a gradual in the second and third years. For students from various categories,scholarships such as Merit-cum-means,Egrantz,sc/st scholarships and other financial aids through NSP portal provide significance support in reducing the financial burden.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good.It has been offering a good balance of academics and other extra curricular activities. There is so many labs for improving their practical experience also ccf which offers computer availability for College Library offers a good range of Students can run club like IEEE , NSS, IEDC, SAE...etc
Admission
Admission process is through keam mark and plustwo result. By considering these two a rank list published,also reservation also play a role in admission process.There is 3 level allotment and may be a mop up allotment.Also spot allotment also there.
Faculty
The curriculum is relevant but syllabus is not much updated.This syllabus not giving us practical experience about most of the things.Sem duration is lesser as compared to syllabus.But facualties helps us to cover the syllabus,so we can score in sem exams.The two internal exams conducted by College is also help for scoring in sem exam
Night Life
Night life of gec Palakkad is really quite.There is separate gym for boys and girls till 9 pm.Canteen is the main hangout area for students.It give good food and calm atmosphere for students.College Library can also accessed by students.
