From childhood my interest is toward processing chips, motherboard, electronic circuit etc. So i prefer ECE ans my branch. There are all the labs available in the ece department. In our Institute semester is almost 4 month long and there are two exam conducted and the exams are not much difficult and moderate.

Many companies offers internship ongc, tata powers, bsnl, j&k powers, drdo, codespeedy, many iits, indigo, vizag steel plants etc. The average stipend is 16900/- and highest stipend is 70000/- and internship percentage is 97.4?.

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. In this ongoing year many companies autodesk, Nvidia, oracle, Samsung, tata steels etc. Highest offer is offered by autodesk to two students ctc of 35.5 lacs per annum. The average package is around 10.48 lpa. Almost 75-80?percent student gwt placed. I planned to get good placement after degree.

As I am a obc category student whose family incone is below 1lac annually, so i get complete wavier of tution fees. Some extra chargee like Institute development fees and library fees are still applicable. I pay 21000/-anually as my course fees. If you are a SC/ST or a student with family income below 1lac your course fees i will be 21000/- annually. If you are a general/obc/ews student with family income1-5lac your course fee will be 62666/- annually. And if you are general/obc/ews student whose family income is above 5lacs annually your course fee will be 146000/-anually.

Cultural fest, rang-e-cginar and technical fest name techvaganza. Almost every book related to the courses available in the library. The 1st year classroom not good but other than that every classroom have digital board amd ac. There almost every sports ground available and there is inter semester and inter department tournament played every year. There are many clubs.

In our hostel room almost every facilities is a available like attached bathroom in jhelum extension hostel, geyser is available for winters, lan, wi fi etc. The meal quality is descent and the menu is also good. The registration process for hostel is easy and you can apply at the time of admission. The hostels are affordable. Hostel charges are 16000/- and mess charges are 40000/- annually.

I filled nit hamirpur above this Institute but my percentile is liw for that. And in 1st round i got nit rourkela, physics etc but i prefer ece branch. The admission process of my college is little long. I gave jee main exam and based on my percentile i got this college. The cutoff of my Institute is relatively lower than other Institutes.

The faculty to student ratio is good. For every 15-20 students faculty is available. Almost all faculties are very friendly and helping. I like almost all but my favorite is dr. Noor zaman khan,whose teaching style is very good and communication between student is also good. There is not a particular faculty which i don't like. There are two exams per semester, mid and end term. And exam are descent amd mostly the question come from class notes.

No. The admission is based on the score of the jed mains percentile. First we have to give jee mains exam and then fill the counselling jossa and then i got this Institute. There is also csab counselling for the nits.

Library timing is from 9am-12am for boys and 9am-10pm for girls. Gym has many slots and gym is opened almost everyday. Cafeteria is also closes at 11pm. Campus in timing is 8pm and hostel in timing is 11pm. The Institute is near famous dal lake and the view of dal lake from Institute is very good. And other than that students go to sonamarg, pahalgam, gulmarg etc tourist destination to see snowfall. The locality is also safe to roam around.
