Course Curriculum Overview
The theory exams are conducted in 3hrs and lab exams are conducted in 4hrs. the main prob of the faculties is they dont know how to teach properly.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees in state merit for general category is 1,86,000. Tuition fee-1,33,720 Other fee-40,165 Registration fee- Admission fee-12,155 For sc/st there is egrand scholarship. For NRI category the fee is 3,20,000 per year. The hostel fee is 47,000 per year.
Campus Life
Only onam, christmas,eid are celebrated in this campus.students will conduct sports.no other extracurricular activites in campus but in university there will be there.university sports,art, project etc
Hostel Facilities
There will be 3cadets in a room.in the room there will be 3beds, 2lights, 3fans, 3cupboards,etc... Quality is average for the food and there will be a time table for the food.all students in the college must stay in the hostel upto the course finished.the hostel fee is 47,000 per year including food.
Admission
I applied in Amrita Vishwavidhyapeetham in Coimbatore. I tried their entrance examination and i got selected in btech mechanical engineering. but the total fee where 16 lakhs and need to pay 2lakh per sem. the ranks for the entrance examination are needed upto 5000 then we will be surely assured of admission.
Faculty
The internal exams are in 50marks and there is no pass marks.there will be 2 internal exams.we need score maximum marks for the internal to pass semester exams in very simple. then the attendance mark is 5 mark.assignment marks are in 10 marks.if we have continuous assessment mark above 26 then we need only 24to pass in the semester exams. In every semester there is 6subjects and 2lab exams. The worst faculties are rehna rose francis, ananthakrishnan, Akhil s karun,chinju.
Night Life
There is a gud gym in the university and a library and cafeterias as well.the hostel timing are morning 6:15am there is physical training about 1hr. Breakfast is available from 7am to 8:15am.there will be roll call infront of college at 8:40.the classes starts from 9am to 12am.the lunch will be in the hostel mess at 12am to 1pm.the class starts again from 1pm to 4pm. We can get outside from 4pm to 9:30pm.and there will be a roll call at the hostel at 9:30.
